Bank services:

To access the banking services via your mobile phone with mHawala, you need to have a bank account with a mHawala partner bank, and you should have your CPIN (Your bank would provide this PIN during your registration) to perform any of the below transaction.

  • Transfer of funds from Bank account to mHawala account.
  • Transfer of funds from mHawala account to bank account.
  • Balance enquiry of your bank account.

Transfer of funds from Bank account to mHawala account:

  • Dial *711#
  • Select option 1 from the menu and reply with ok.
  • Select 3 and press ok.
  • Select 1 and press ok.
  • Enter the amount you wish to Transfer and press ok.
  • Enter your CPIN code which is provided by the bank during registrations and press ok.
  • Enter your mHawala PIN and press ok.
  • A screen will appear with amount for the confirmation, reply with 1 to confirm.
  • You would receive a successful SMS notification on your mobile phone for the transfer of funds. 

Transfer of funds from mHawala account to bank account:

  • Dial *711#
  • Select option 1 from the menu and reply with ok.
  • Select 3 and press ok.
  • Select 2 and press ok.
  • Enter the amount you wish to transfer from your mHawala account to your bank account and press ok.
  • Enter your CPIN code which is provided by the bank during registrations and press ok.
  • Enter your mHawala PIN and press ok.
  • A screen will appear with amount for the confirmation, reply with 1 to confirm.
  • You would receive a successful SMS notification on your mobile phone for the transfer of funds. 

Balance enquiry of your bank account:

  • Dial *711#
  • Select option 1 from the menu and reply with ok.
  • Select 3 and press ok.
  • Select 2 and press ok.
  • Enter the amount you wish to transfer from your mHawala account to your bank account and press ok.
  • Enter your CPIN code which is provided by the bank during registrations and press ok.
  • Enter your mHawala PIN and press ok.
  • A screen will appear with amount for the confirmation, reply with 1 to confirm.

You would receive a successful SMS notification on your mobile phone for the last balance of your bank account

Loan payments and Re payments

This service is for the companies and they can distribute loans to their customers using mHawala URL and can receive payments from their customers.

Purchase goods / service

If you want to do purchase from your mHawala wallet, please follow the below

  • Dial *711#
  • Select option 1 from the menu and reply with ok.
  • Select 1 and press ok.
  • Enter the merchant Mobile number.
  • Enter the amount you wish to purchase.
  • Enter your PIN and press ok.
  • A screen will appear with amount for the confirmation, reply with 1 to confirm.
  • You and the agent would receive a successful SMS notification on your mobile phones.  

Salary payment

This service is for the companies and they can distribute salaries to their staffs via using mHawala URL, mHawala would give them either option, first they can distribute salaries to their staff by using their users from their own premises or mHawala can also distribute the salaries to the company’s staffs from Etisalat mHawala main office.

Breshna bill payment

If you want to do electricity bill payment (DABS bill payments is only for Kabul) from your mHawala wallet, please follow the below steps:

  • Dial *711#
  • Select option 3 from the menu and reply with ok.
  • Select 1 and press ok.
  • Enter your mHawala PIN and press ok.
  • A screen will appear with amount for the confirmation, reply with 1 to confirm.

You would receive a successful SMS notification on your mobile phone. 

Note: Before you pay your electricity bill, you should have an Etisalat SIM, you must register for mHawala services (via a short code or visiting nearest mHawala agent) along with that you should ask the mHawala agent or franchise to bind your mHawala number with your Breshna bill.
